The AA Travel website is the online version of the ubiquitous AA Accommodation Guide, the must-have manual for those looking for accommodation within New Zealand.

The website allows Internet users all over the world access to AA Travel databases of places to stay, accommodation and events for free, without having to buy the printed book.

In addition to the standard web version of the site, there is also a mobile version (using Vodafone PartnerML and WAP), and a version for web-enabled PDAs, to allow those on the road access to the same information as regular web users.

The AA Database, which drives the site and is maintained by AA Travel staff, is remotely administered with an Amber application. The site can be updated from anywhere with a web browser and an internet connection. The site design also incorporates a sophisticated content management system, allowing internal AA Travel web design staff to change both the static pages and the AA Travel database itself, in-house.
