Ian Boswell, Managing Director

Since 1991, Ian has evolved from a "past life" as a programmer into his current role as the Managing Director of Clearfield. In addition to his administrative duties, Ian is the first point of contact at Clearfield, and is a skilled software designer, technical writer and project manager.

Ian is a founding member of Clearfield.

Francois is the technical guru of Clearfield, and brings a vast pool of computing knowledge to the company. Francois is an accomplished C, C++, Assembler and Java programmer, and is responsible for the successful delivery of some of Clearfield's most obscure and challenging technical projects. Among other things, Francois also works as a hardware consultant, Unix rollout expert and network administrator.

Francois is a founding member of Clearfield.

Dr David Knowles, Systems Architect

David has an incredibly broad base of knowledge that encompasses a wide range of different problem domains. In addition to being Clearfield's primary software architect & designer, David has more than 20 years of programming under his belt, and provides expertise in analysis, design, project management, project control, negotiation and methodologies.

David joined Clearfield in 1992.

Steve Moseley, Senior Software Engineer

Steve has been programming since punch-cards were invented, and is both an extremely experienced programmer and a very highly skilled project manager. Steve is known for his considered and logical style in both his programming and his management.

Steve joined Clearfield in 2000, and has more than 2 decades of commercial and technical software development experience in many development languages, environments and roles.

Mark Howard, Senior Software Engineer

During projects, Mark generally works in a Technical Lead role, heading up a team of Clearfield developers. Mark has extensive experience in a dozen different programming languages, has also worked as a database administrator/designer and project manager. He has also consulted in Systems Analysis and design roles.

Mark has 12 years experience in commercial software development, and joined Clearfield in 1996.
